This webinar will explain how New Jersey municipalities and Green Teams can earn Sustainable Jersey points by taking steps to assess and plan for the needs of an aging population and in so doing, change policies and implement programs to create communities that are livable for people of all ages with the recently released Community Design for All Ages action. Age-friendly communities have a diversity of housing options, access to transportation and mobility options, sustainable downtown economies, and civic and green spaces that provide opportunities for social engagement and physical activity as well as provide environmental benefit. Municipalities can do a great deal to support age-friendly communities.
