Inclusive Healthy Community Focus Group

Sustainable Jersey is working with partners to develop guidance for municipalities to more effectively communicate with and engage individuals with disabilities in local decision-making. Our Inclusive Healthy Communities project begins with four focus groups specifically designed to gather input from those living with varying disabilities and their caretakers. We want your opinion about the benefits and hindrances of participating in civic life within your community.

Project partners include the NJ Institute for Disabilities and Centers for Inclusive Living. This initiative was funded by an Inclusive Healthy Communities Grant from the Division of Disability Services, New Jersey Department of Human Services.
